About us

We're bringing together our local NHS, councils and voluntary sector to create an Integrated Care System (ICS) so we can better serve you in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.  We're joining forces with the NHS, councils and voluntary sector to coordinate services around the whole needs of each person

We've been chosen as one of the very first areas in England to offer integrated care - a new type of care with even closer collaboration between health and wellbeing partners.

More and more people need care across a lot of different settings, whether they’re visiting clinics or hospitals, living in nursing homes or at home with a carer. We want to make sure your entire care system – whatever it might look like – is well coordinated and working together as a team to give you exactly the care you need.

That also means we have more freedom to manage local services and determine how money is spent on health and care. We are investing in what we know works best for our local community, like focusing on preventing illnesses and providing more services closer to where people live.
