Dementia Challenge
The Prime Minister's Challenge on Dementia 2020 builds on the Dementia Challenge that was launched in 2012. It sets out what this government wants to see in place by 2020 in order for England to be:
- the best country in the world for dementia care and support and for people with dementia, their carers and families to live
- the best place in the world to undertake research into dementia and other neurodegenerative diseases.
Dementia Action Alliance
We have signed up to the Dementia Action Alliance. We are working closely with the County Dementia Outreach Service (email emmahutton@nottshc.nhs.uk), Clinical Commissioning Groups and the private, voluntary and independent sector to implement the priorities in the Nottinghamshire Dementia Action Alliance plan [PDF].
